If you make a purchase from us, we use your data to process your order, protect our legal claims and fulfill our legal obligations. With your consent, we pass on your data to third parties and our partners. We are entitled to process your personal data either to prepare or fulfill a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in the form of the possibility of improving the quality of our services or your consent.
We use the data, photos and videos taken at events to document these meetings with customers and publish them on our websites (www.uniscomp.cz, www.prytanis.cz, www.kybos.cz), YouTube, social networks and we also pass on these documentary photos to our event partners in order to obtain their partner support and subsequent promotion.
As part of our activities, we process personal data for various purposes and to varying extents either:
- without your consent based on the performance of the contract, our legitimate interest or due to the fulfillment of a legal obligation
- based on your consent.
What processing we can carry out without your consent depends on the purpose of the processing and your position towards us – whether you are just a visitor to our website, or you register with us or make a purchase from our sales managers. We may also process your data if you are the recipient of goods or services ordered from us, if you communicate with us or if you visit our headquarters.
How long
We store your data for the period that is usual for the life of the products or services that you have purchased from us and thanks to this data we can offer you the renewal of equipment or services. We store the data for a period of 10 years, or for the duration of your consent, or for the period that other legal regulations impose on us.
To whom do we transfer your data and who helps us process it
We transfer your data to suppliers and partners of our events in order to obtain support for our events for customers who need it for the purpose of tax deductibility of the costs incurred. Your data is also transferred and used to prepare more advantageous offers for you - our customers or potential customers. We do not transfer your data to any third countries.
What are your rights when processing personal data:
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, portability, object and file a complaint.
Right to access
You have the right to know what data we process about you, for what purpose, for what period, where we obtain your personal data, to whom we transfer it, who processes it outside of us and what other rights you have related to the processing of your personal data. You can learn all this in this document "Protection of customer personal data". However, if you are not sure which personal data we are processing about you, you can ask us to confirm whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed by us and, if so, you have the right to access these personal data. As part of the right of access, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data being processed, and we will provide you with the first copy free of charge and subsequent copies for a fee.
Right to rectification
To err is human. If you find that the personal data we are processing about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or completed without undue delay.
Right to erasure
In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data erased or invalidated. We will delete or invalidate your personal data without undue delay if one of the following reasons applies:
- we no longer need your personal data for the purposes for which we processed them
- you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data, provided that the processing is based on your consent and we have no other reason to continue processing the data;
- you exercise your right to object to processing (see the Right to object to processing section below) for personal data that we process based on our legitimate interests and we find that we no longer have any such legitimate interests that would justify such processing
- you believe that our processing of personal data is no longer in accordance with generally binding regulations.
Please note, however, that even if one of these reasons applies, this does not mean that we will immediately delete all of your personal data. This right does not apply if the processing of your personal data is still necessary for compliance with our legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal claims.
Right to restriction of processing
In some cases, you may exercise the right to restriction of processing of your personal data in addition to the right to erasure. This right allows you to request in certain cases that your personal data be marked and that these data are not subject to any further processing operations – in this case, however, not forever (as in the case of the right to erasure), but for a limited period of time. We must restrict the processing of your personal data if:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data before we agree which data is correct
- we process your personal data without sufficient legal basis (e.g. beyond what we have to or need to process), but you would prefer only their restriction to the erasure of such data (e.g. if you expect that you would provide us with such data anyway in the future)
- we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the processing mentioned above, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims
- you object to the processing. The right to object is described in more detail below in the chapter Right to object to processing. For the period during which we are investigating, if your objection is justified, we are obliged to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to portability
You have the right to obtain from us all your personal data that you have provided to us and that we process on the basis of your consent and the performance of a contract. We will provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. In order to be able to easily transfer the data at your request, this may only be data that we process automatically in our electronic databases.
Right to object to processing
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data that is based on our legitimate interest. In the case of marketing activities, we will stop processing your personal data as soon as technically possible; in other cases, we will do so unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for continuing such processing.
Right to lodge a complaint
Exercising your rights in the above manner does not affect your right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. You can exercise this right in particular if you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or in violation of generally binding legal regulations. You can lodge a complaint against our processing of personal data with the Office for Personal Data Protection, which is located at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
If you feel the need to lodge a complaint, we would like to politely ask you to first contact us, preferably directly with the director, Mr. Vítězslav Mach, and together we will try to satisfy you to the maximum extent possible. We always prefer an agreement and friendly negotiations between our parties.
